Year: 2024

About Me

Talofa, Kia ora and welcome to my blog. My name is Tumoe and I am year 8 at Pt England school. My teacher this year is Mr Moran who is humorous, but most of the time he is not. I am a proud Samoan with 3 siblings, and as a middle child I will always be known as the favourite. The 2 sports I love to play are either Netball or Volleyball. I enjoy hanging out with my little minions, Aniqua, Taisha and Eleni.

This is all about me! Make sure to look through my blog and leave with a positive comment.

Immersion Assembly – Transformers

What does Transformers mean?

For this term the Korero is Transformers! What does Transformers mean? Not that kind you are thinking about right now, but the Transformers that can mean a variety of things. The main topic for Pt England school is Drama ! Drama includes things like emotions, action, acting, facial expressions and even dress up. We are learning about drama and how we can transform it into art!

Immersion Assembly

On the first day of the term we had an immersion assembly in the morning block. Immersion assemblies are where each team teacher comes up and presents what we are learning for this term. I got to sit back and enjoy all the movies and acting that were created by teachers. Team 1 is learning about how to read someone’s facial expressions and emotions through music. Team 2 is learning about emotions and drama. Team 3 is learning about drama and action. Team 4 is learning about emotions, facial expressions and action. Lastly, Team 5 the best team of all is learning how to act and express themselves! I loved this terms Korero and can’t wait to learn more !
