Today was school art expos, during literacy class we all lined up and got ourselves ready to see some of the artworks we have been focusing on this term. We walked into the breeze to the hall and saw a variety of amazing, weird and unique types of art pasted or hung on the wall. Me and my friend Eleni walked around and saw each other’s art, we enjoyed every bit we had done there. Fun well it lasted, we all had to line back outside near the cafeteria and walked back to class.
Exciting news, the fun had just begun! Again we got outside and lined up, Mr. Hughes got all of us ready and he led our way under Tekapua. Everyone was sitting down, parents were waiting, and loud music was played. We got to sit down as one of the audience and watched people perform, lot of people had their own item. Dance, rap, story telling, singing and much more. Everyone screamed their hearts out and cheered for their friends who were performing. My favourite item was Taisha and her group, Bob, Noa, JJ, Atelea, Moimoi, and Iva. Their tau’olunga and sipi tau were amazing and they danced like professionals. I did enjoy every item though, everyone was amazing!
